LOCATION: Ferrara, Central Post Office
ROUTE: Blue
HISTORICAL COMMENTS ABOUT THE PLACE: The Central Post Office was built between 1927 and 1929 during the “Addizione Novecentesca” (“Twentieth-Century Addition”). The front is decorated with white marble, which recalls classical art, while the sides and the back of the building were built with bricks, a typical element of rationalist architecture. Opened in 1930, it’s, even nowadays, the most important Postal Office in Ferrara.
