LOCATION: Consolación's church, Alcalá la Real, Spain.
COLOUR OF THE ROUTE: BLUE.
LEVEL: Medium.
HISTORICAL COMMENTS ABOUT THE PLACE: It is the headquarters of the parish of Santa María la Mayor, which until the beginning of the 19 century was located in La Mota. When that temple was destroyed and abandoned after the War of Independence, the abbey institution was also installed in this church, due to its size and decorum. Since then, it was and is the main temple of the city.
