HISTORICAL COMMENTS ABOUT THE PLACE: The Cathedral of Granada is a Catholic temple in the city of Granada, home of the city's archdiocese. The temple is one of the peak works of the spanish Renaissance. The twenty-four stained glass windows of the main chapel tell the story of the Redemption: the top ten, arranged in chronological order, begin with the Baptist's preaching ending with the coming of the Holy Spirit; the lower windows show passages from the life of Christ.
