The Pilar de los Álamos is located near the Paseo de los Alamos.
Its works began in 1531 and ended 1552.Its works began in 1531 and ended 1552.
The author was the Renaissance sculptor Jacobo "el Florentín", according to the book acts of the
council and the account book of 1934. Some believe that Jacobo was the author and others, the son-in-law of
Juan Muñoz Herrero.
