HISTORICAL COMMENTS ABOUT THE PLACE:The monumental aqueduct tank was designed in the 1920s by the architect Carlo Savonuzzi, combining Renaissance style with the modern geometry of rationalist architecture. The structure, done in reinforced concrete, is 37 meters high and stands on a dodecagonal base. Above the latter,12 columns, each of them 12 meters high, support the tank, which can contain up to 2500 cubic meters of water.
