Church St. Jakub the Elder Apostle in Tuchów - brick late baroque parish church in Tuchów. The church was built in 1791–1794, thanks to the Benedictine foundation of the Tyniec abbey. Florian Amand Janowski, bishop of Tarnów consecrated him. Church Jacob is a three-nave oriented basilica with a closed semi-circular presbytery. The western facade is crowned with a two-storey tower covered with a spherical helmet. Most of the interior furnishings of the church: the main altar and side parts, the pulpit, baptismal font, organ prospectus, stalls and two confessionals represent the Rococo style. The interior is covered with sail vaults. On the sides - on vases - sculptures of two angels: one with an arrow, the other with a chalice. The culmination ends with a sculpture of St. Archangel Michael trampling the dragon, with a radial sword. The altar with rich woodcarving decoration, with small forms - in the form of: rooster combs, cartouches, acanthus leaves, clouds. Architectural tabernacle created from a straight wall. cabinet with a high profiled base, enclosed on the sides with curly columns, closed with a cornice, on which a cartouche with the boiling letters "ihs", topped with a sculpture of a lamb among radiant glory.
