Historical Place: The Barra Lighthouse is a monument that was built between 1885 and 1893. Located on Barra Beach, it’s one of the 26 biggest lighthouses in the world and the biggest in Portugal. In 2018 the Barra Lighthouse was the most visited portuguese lighthouse.
