In Baltic Square

. a) On the ground is a pattern of squares within squares. How many small squares make up a larger square pattern?

b) Write down or draw one more pattern you can see on the ground?

Look at the lifts in the Baltic building. Approximately how many seconds does it take for the lift to go from the top of the building to the bottom without stopping?

Walk up the steps from Baltic Square. Take care as you cross Hillgate Road. Carry on up the steps to The Sage Gateshead. Move to the blue barrier and look across to the roads on the other side of the River Tyne.
