Our school is a comprehensive secondary school founded in 1945. It has 298 students aged between 16 and 19 years old and 25 teachers. Our students receive high quality education. For several years our school has been ranked among the best high schools in the region as our students acquire high results in school final exams. This successful achievements are a result of our teaching approach which aims at treating each student individually. It means we recognize the needs of each student and we educate them according to their low or high learning abilities. Since 1979 we have been a UNESCO associated school.
Due to this fact, we have been organizing for our students a project named The Days of Culture to give young people an opportunity to develop their abilities and acquire new skills.
We act in accordance with UNESCO aims, mainly promoting culture, art and science,
building respect to human rights regardless of their skin colour, social status and religion, supporting innovative teaching methods and improving the quality of education. Our school encourages the students to participate in projects in order to broaden their horizons, raise their cultural wareness and develop the skill of entrepreneurship.
